W&L Hosts Three Senior Piano Recitals All three shows are free and open to the public, and no tickets are required.

The Washington and Lee University Music Department presents three senior piano recitals this month. The first, on May 11, will be performed by  Zachary Brandt ’19 at 5 p.m. in Wilson Concert Hall. Brandt, a senior music major from Yorktown, Virginia, will play works by Scarlatti, Beethoven, Schubert, Brahms, Rachmaninoff and Schoenberg. All three shows are free and open to the public, and no tickets are required.

Anna Lee Riccio ’19 will give her piano recital on May 21 at 3 p.m. in Wilson Concert Hall. Riccio, an accounting and business administration major from Southport, Connecticut, will perform solo piano works including Bach, Mozart, Chopin and Ravel. She will also accompany several songs for Austin Jennings ’19, bass from Prince George, Virginia.

Lisa Roth ’19 will perform on May 21 at 5 p.m. in Wilson Concert Hall. Roth, a senior public accounting major from Southborough, Massachusetts, will play multiple works including the “Chromatic Fantasy and Fugue in D minor” by J.S. Bach, the “Sonata in C minor” by Joseph Haydn, “Andante and Rondo Capriccioso, Op. 14” by Felix Mendelssohn and “Nocturne in F minor, Op. 5 No. 1” by Frédéric Chopin.
