Q. Tell us a little about yourself.
I am an alumna of the first class of women welcomed to Washington and Lee. I was an English and theater major, and returned while in graduate school to intern at the then-new Lenfest Center. Rockbridge County never left my heart, and I have returned to the area to live. I have three children in college and am building a new house on 28 acres in Fairfield.
Q. Any favorite Lexington/regional spots/activities (or something you are excited about)?
I am excited to watch local baseball teams and to also visit the many wineries and breweries.
Rachel Gregor, Curator of Collections and Exhibitions in the Institutional History Museum
Q. Tell us a little about yourself.
I am a “Double Duke” from James Madison University. Having grown up in Virginia, I’m excited to be back in the Commonwealth after spending a few years in South Carolina with my spouse, rescue cat, and dog (who was named after the Shenandoah Mountains).
Q. Any favorite Lexington/regional spots/activities (or something you are excited about)?
I have always wanted to see a meteor shower at Natural Bridge. And, despite having lived in the Shenandoah Valley for a number of years, I have yet to drive Skyline Drive and the Blue Ridge Parkway.
Q. How do you unwind or have fun? Any hobbies or hidden talents?
I love to hike! Humpback Rock (45 minutes north of Lexington) is one of my favorites.
Elizabeth Jordan, Major Gifts Officer â University Advancement

I have a Bachelor of Arts in classics and English from Georgetown University. I love to hike, ride and explore in the Blue Ridge and Shenandoah Mountains.
Q. Any favorite Lexington/regional spots/activities (or something you are excited about)?
I fox hunt with the Bedford County Hunt Club and am looking forward to hunting with the Rockbridge Hunt.
Q. Best advice anyone has ever given you?
Listen more than you speak and be comfortable with silence.
