Q. Tell us a little about you and your background.
I am a Rockbridge County local. I graduated from Rockbridge County High School in 2014 and enrolled in college for a short time after. My family all live in the area, and I enjoy spending time with them along with my fiancé.

Q. Any favorite Lexington/regional spots/activities?
My wedding will be in May 2023 at Ecco Adesso, it has become one of my favorite hangout spots! My fiancé and I love visiting the local breweries and wineries.

Q. How do you unwind/have fun? Any hobbies or hidden talents?
The planning for my wedding consumes most of my current free time. Picking out all the fine details of one of the most important days of your life is really special and exciting. I love spending time with my fiancé, traveling to new places, trying new restaurants and breweries. Our Blue Heeler LuLu is usually along for the ride too.

Q. Tell us a little about you and your background.
I have a bachelor’s degree from Bluefield College. I’ve been married for 47 years and have a wonderful son, Sam, who has been married for over 20 years to his soulmate Charlotte. I have a rescue dog from the SPCA named Rossi, who is my best friend. He is a six-year-old pure-bred pit bull who has the gentle soul of a ten-year-old dog. He is unique because he has a red nose and face, and is so smart. I am honored to be a part of the W&L family but I will miss being with Rossi each day. I have three brothers and two sisters and have lived in Rockbridge County the majority of my life.

Q. Tell us about the things you enjoy.
I enjoy the simple things in life — seeing a beautiful sunrise or sunset; listening to the birds singing their beautiful songs; smelling a rose; watching the snowflakes as they fall; watching the beautiful stars; and feeling the cool breeze blowing across my face.

Q. Any favorite Lexington/regional spots/activities?
I attend Lexington Baptist Church and I’m part of a women’s bible study group. The ladies are truly awesome and have welcomed me with loving arms — as did the church. I love taking long walks and admiring God’s creation that surrounds me. I am a truly blessed individual.
