Q. Tell us a little about yourself.
I grew up in New York City, but spent childhood holidays in my native Belize. I attended Dartmouth College and then eventually went to law school in Chicago. I practiced law for five years in Connecticut on the Shoreline and moved to Virginia a little over 10 years ago. I have lived in Roanoke for the past four years and I have two sons, Carter and Grayson. We are avid travelers and always looking for our next adventure!

Q. Any favorite Lexington/regional spots/activities (or something you are excited about)?
The beauty of the W&L campus and its surroundings fondly reminds me of Dartmouth. I look forward to exploring and learning more about Lexington’s storied history, in particular the architecture of the buildings.

Q. How do you unwind or have fun? Any hobbies or hidden talents?
As a child, I dreamt of being a lawyer and a flight attendant. Unfortunately, I never got to be a flight attendant, but I still have that wanderlust. Whether it be by air, by car, train or boat, I love to see new places and revisit old ones.
