Henry Leventis ’03L Nominated for U.S. Attorney Post
W&L Law alumnus Henry C. Leventis ’03L has been tapped by President Joe Biden to serve as U.S. Attorney for the Middle District of Tennessee.
Currently, Leventis is a partner at the law firm Spencer Fane LLP in Nashville. His practice is focused on helping businesses and individuals with high-stakes criminal, civil and administrative matters.
From 2015 to 2020, Leventis served as an Assistant United States Attorney in the United States Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Tennessee. Prior to that, he served as a Trial Attorney in the Criminal Section of the Civil Rights Division of the U.S. Department of Justice. From 2003 to 2005 and again from 2008 to 2010, Leventis served as Assistant Solicitor in the Ninth Circuit Solicitor’s Office in Charleston, South Carolina.
Leventis received his J.D. from W&L Law in 2003 and his B.A. from the College of Charleston in 1997.
