Hobby/Interest?

One of my hobbies is studying astrology and doing birth chart readings for my friends. Vedic astrology is a huge part of my culture (my name was actually chosen based on my natal chart), and I love learning about it.

What you are looking forward to in 1L year?

I am so excited to meet everyone this fall! I can’t wait to get to know my fellow 1Ls and spend time with new friends in and out of Lewis Hall. I’m also looking forward to using my study carrel! It’s such a unique feature of the school, a little home away from home!

Why W&L Law?

W&L Law feels like it was made for me. I learn most effectively in smaller class sizes, a tight-knit community, and hands-on experience. I was surprised to learn that W&L Law checked off every box and more! The admissions team connected me to resources in the community who are knowledgeable in my desired field. I received personalized postcards, calls, and emails. I know that the W&L Law community values its students, and I am so excited to be part of the community.

What is the most adventurous thing you have done?

For me, my biggest adventure was moving for my first “big kid job.” I knew nobody in the city, my closest family members were 400 miles away, I was completely out of my comfort zone, and it was an incredible experience learning to be truly independent. I can’t wait to start my next adventure in Lexington!

Something you hope to continue to pursue in law school that brings you joy?

I love to create art and plan to bring all my supplies to Lexington. I have dabbled in a variety of areas, including painting, drawing, crocheting, sewing, and calligraphy. I enjoy creating in different mediums, but I mainly do acrylic painting and hand lettering.

Something unique about you?

I have been working in the pharmaceutical industry for a few years, starting as a pharmacy technician, then transitioning into pharmaceutical product testing. Throughout my experiences, I was introduced to the legal part of the industry, which sparked my interest in patent law.
