Q. How long have you worked at W&L?
I have been working at W&L for 7 1/2 years.
Q. What do you like most about working at W&L?
The people that I have met and the connections that I have made with them.
Q. Where is your favorite location on the W&L campus?
The W&L campus is truly beautiful. My favorite spot is the bridge that you walk across from the parking garage to the commons. In the fall it’s so pretty with all the colors of the leaves.
Q. Where did you grow up?
Natural Bridge Station and I’m still there!
Q. What advice do you have for students?
The old saying “the days go by slow and the years go by fast” is such a true statement. It’s crazy how time works. My advice is to enjoy the season you’re in now. It will soon be a memory.
Q. What is the most adventurous thing that you have ever done?
I flew to and from Sweden by myself. I cried the whole time. I’m not that adventurous otherwise.
Q. What’s your favorite thing to do when you’re not working?
Being with my family and making travel plans. I am constantly looking at places we can go, even if it’s just for a day, long weekend or a week. I always have to have a trip planned in the near future.
Q. If you could live anywhere, where would you build your dream home?
I would love to live by the ocean on the East coast.
Q. What book are you reading now?
My bible. It’s the only book you can continue to read and learn something new.
Q. What music are you listening to these days?
Christian contemporary music.
Q. What is your favorite film (movie) of all time?
My favorite movie is “Elf.” I can pretty much quote the entire movie.
Q. What is the website you visit most often and why?
Amazon – they have everything you can think of.
Q. If they made a movie about your life, who would play you?
Reese Witherspoon – She has always been my favorite.
Q. If you could have coffee with one person, who would it be and why?
My grandfather, Albert. We were so close and he passed away before I had kids. I would love to tell him all about my daughter and son.
Q. What is your desert island food?
Spaghetti! It’s my favorite food of all time and I could eat it every day.
Q. Tell us something most people don’t know about you.
