Q. How long have you worked at W&L?
I have worked at W&L for a little over four years.

Q. What do you like most about working at W&L?
All the smart and kind people I meet and a job that is never boring.

Q. Where is your favorite location on the W&L campus?
Woods Creek directly behind Wilson Hall.

Q. Where did you grow up?
I grew up in Tidewater, Virginia.

Q. What advice do you have for students?
Follow your heart and get plenty of sleep! Also embrace empathy: talk with and/or read about people who aren’t like you.

Q. What’s your favorite thing to do when you’re not working?
This is a tie between working on art projects or hanging out with my partner.

Q. If you could live anywhere, where would you build your dream home?
I would build overlooking the ocean in a mild-to-warm climate facing West so I can watch the sunset over the ocean.

Q. What book are you reading now?
I just started “Paris in 3D: From Stereoscopy to Virtual Reality 1850-2000” by the Musee Carnavalet of Paris.

Q. What music are you listening to these days?
It varies, but often involves funk music.

Q. What is your favorite film (movie) of all time?
My favorite movie is “Pan’s Labyrinth.”

Q. What is the website you visit most often and why?
I visit various news sites – I like knowing what’s going on in the world.

Q. If they made a movie about your life, who would play you?
I would say Helen Hunt.

Q. Which historical figure do you most identify with and why?
I’d love to be as brave and bold as Harriet Tubman.

Q. If you could have coffee with one person, who would it be and why?
My mom, for advice and a hug.

Q. What is your desert island food?
Crunchy roasted potatoes or chocolate.

I’ve seen over 50 Phish shows.
