Q. How long have you worked at W&L?
I’ve been working at W&L for 10 years.
Q. What do you like most about working at W&L?
My colleagues who have become close friends.
Q. Where is your favorite location on the W&L campus?
I love the garden area at Belfield because it’s beautiful and serene, “hidden” in the middle of campus. I also love the gyms, now Holekamp (previously Warner) & Doremus. I spent a lot of time in them as an undergrad.
Q. Where did you grow up?
I grew up in North Wilmington, Delaware, about 20 minutes away from Philadelphia.
Q. What advice do you have for students?
Step out of your comfort zone.
Q. What is the most adventurous thing that you have ever done?
I am not very adventurous, I overthink EVERYTHING.
Q. What’s your favorite thing to do when you’re not working?
Attend sporting events with my husband and kids. Generals/RARO/LexLax/RCHS, etc.
Q. If you could live anywhere, where would you build your dream home?
It’s between a secluded beach and a cabin in Montana. Maybe Montana for the summers and the beach for the rest of the year because I can’t take too much snow, but it sure is beautiful.
Q. Who most inspires you?
My kids. I love how they see the world and I aspire to be the best person I can be for them.
Q. What book are you reading now?
Right now, it’s “Beartown” by Fredrik Backman. But also, a “Diary of a Wimpy Kid” book to my younger son every night.
Q. What music are you listening to these days?
A little Taylor Swift, Post Malone, Zach Bryan and Eminem. Early 2000’s pop/rap is always in the mix as well.
Q. What is your favorite film of all time?
It’s a three-way tie between “The Goonies,” “The Wedding Singer,” and “The Wizard of Oz.”
Q. What is the website you visit most often and why?
Generalssports.com – I have to keep up with the Generals! Shout out to Coach LeRose and Generals Football. But Google is a close second, as researching people is my job!
Q. If they made a movie about your life, who would play you?
I’m not sure – maybe Drew Barrymore. She is quirky and funny.
Q. If you could have coffee with one person, who would it be and why?
Probably my maternal grandmother. She passed when my mom was a kid, so we never met, but she was well-loved and I have heard lots of great stories about her.
Q. What is your desert island food?
Cheese Pizza – I literally could eat it every day.
Q. What is your secret talent?
I’d have to say baking. I am not a great cook, but I can bake. I like to find new recipes for “sweets,” especially if it has something to do with S’mores.
