Q. How long have you worked at W&L?
I have been working at W&L for about six months.

Q. What do you like most about working at W&L?
My favorite thing about working at W&L is being able to be a part of such an uplifting atmosphere. I have been amazed with how kind everyone is here.

Q. Where is your favorite location on the W&L campus?
I really enjoy taking walks on the Woods Creek nature trail.

Q. Where did you grow up?
I grew up in Vancouver, Washington.

Q. What is the most adventurous thing that you have ever done?
I guess the most adventurous thing that I have ever done would be going on a five-day, 40-mile backpacking trip through the Goat Rocks Wilderness in Washington. It was tiring but the beautiful views made it all worth it.

Q. What’s your favorite thing to do when you’re not working?
I enjoy hiking and taking landscape photos. Trees and waterfalls are the best models for portraits.

Q. If you could live anywhere, where would you build your dream home?
I would build my dream home somewhere in the woods outside of Seattle, Washington.

Q. What book are you reading now?
I am currently trekking through a beast of a book called “Infinite Jest.”

Q. What music are you listening to these days?
I’m currently going through a Jeff Buckley phase. “Grace” is a 10/10 album.

Q. What is your favorite film (movie) of all time?
As of right now, it is “The Big Lebowski.” I think it is the perfect blend of stupid humor, beautiful cinematography, intriguing plot and quotable lines. But yeah, well, you know, that’s just, like ahh, my opinion, man.

Q. What is the website you visit most often and why?
I’m going to say Letterboxd counts as a website. I enjoy going on there to see what new movies are trending and to read funny reviews of different films that I’ve seen.

Q. If they made a movie about your life, who would play you?
I would say John Malkovich – that movie would break records!

Q. Which historical figure do you most identify with and why?
Ansel Adams, because no matter how many photographs I take of nature, I am still wanting to go out and take more.

Q. If you could have coffee with one person, who would it be and why?
I would love to sit down with Stanley Kubrick and be able to hear him explain all the different shots from his movies. Especially “The Shining” and “Barry Lyndon.”

Q. What is your desert island food?
Frozen M&M’s.

Q. Tell us something most people don’t know about you.
I went through a Rubik’s cube obsession when I was in middle school, and I can still solve a 3×3 in under 60 seconds.

Q. What is your secret talent?
The ability to watch a three-hour movie in one sitting.
