Q. How long have you worked at W&L?
I’ve worked at W&L since April 2025.

Q. What is the favorite aspect of your job at W&L?
My favorite aspect of my role is working with a wide variety of people. Because my main focus is planning our campaign events, which take place all over the country, I get to meet people from all sorts of places and learn about the quirks of planning events in each location.

Q. If you chose a different path, what other career would you have?
I went to school for music industry, with the goal of being a tour manager. If I were a braver soul and willing to live out of my suitcase on a tour bus, I think that’s where I would have ended up.

Q. Where did you grow up?
I grew up just outside of Charlottesville, Virginia.

Q. What was your favorite subject in school?
My favorite subject was English.

Q. What three words describe you best?
Direct, conscientious and resourceful.

Q. Name one person from history you would like to spend a day with and why.
I would spend the day with Eve Babitz. I love her writing and have always been intrigued by the 70s celebrity culture in Los Angeles that she based her semi-fictionalized memoirs on.

Q. Who is the most famous person you have met and where did you meet them?
The most famous person I’ve met is Dr. Angela Davis, a political activist and academic who spoke at an event I worked as an intern at Yale a few years ago.

Q. What is your biggest pet peeve?
Loud chewing!

Q. What do you like to do away from work?
In my free time I like to read, try new recipes and spend time outdoors hiking and kayaking. I’ve also picked up ceramics as a new hobby in the last year or so — it’s challenging but such a fun way to be creative.

Q. What is your least favorite chore at home?
I hate vacuuming.

Q. What is your favorite family holiday tradition?
In the early 2000s my family lived in New Mexico for a year and a half. While we were there my dad learned to make tamales, and now we make a huge batch every Christmas Eve.

Q. What is the most adventurous thing that you have ever done?
I’m whatever the polar opposite of a thrill seeker is, but I have hiked to the edge of a volcano in Iceland. I had to sit down and hide behind a big rock at the top so I wouldn’t pass out from fear.

Q. What do you pretend to hate but secretly love?
Hiking in the winter! I never want to do it but I’m always glad once I do.

Q. What is your all-time favorite food or food dish?
Sushi! The way I crave it constantly makes me worry I might have some sort of nutrient deficiency.

Q. Where would you choose to build your dream home?
I would build in Vermont.

Q. What is your all-time favorite book?
My all-time favorite book is “Margherita Dolce Vita” by Stefano Benni.
