Q. How long have you worked at W&L?
I returned to W&L in December 2022. I also worked in sports information for two years from 2014-16.

Q. What do you like most about working at W&L?
The community. W&L is a special place and I enjoy working with and learning from my peers every day.

Q. Where is your favorite location on the W&L campus?
The Colonnade. In my sports information days, the Watt Field press box would have been a close second. The views at sunset were incredible.

Q. Where did you grow up?
I grew up right here in Lexington!

Q. What advice do you have for students?
Take advantage of every opportunity and relish in your time at W&L. It will fly by!

Q. What’s your favorite thing to do when you’re not working?
Check out live music. Lime Kiln and Boxerwood are my favorite local go-to spots in the summer.

Q. If you could live anywhere, where would you build your dream home?
Anywhere surrounded by mountains would be alright with me.

Q. Who most inspires you?
My mom! She is a gem. Her kindness and patience are unmatched.

Q. What book are you reading now?
“Woman on Fire” by Lisa Barr.

Q. What music are you listening to these days?
I listen to a variety of music genres. If you looked at my Spotify Top Songs playlist, you would probably see a lot of Fleetwood Mac, Noah Kahan, Turnpike Troubadours and Zach Bryan. The Feelin’ Good playlist on Spotify is one of my favorites to bop to during work or on road trips.

Q. What is your favorite film (movie) of all time?
“The Sound of Music.”

Q. What is the website you visit most often and why?
Do the W&L websites count?

Q. If you could have coffee with one person, who would it be and why?
My great grandmother, Rebecca Jeanette Ewing. She passed right before I turned 18. There are so many things I would want to talk to her about. She was brilliant and so spunky.

Q. What is your desert island food?
Shrimp!

Q. Tell us something most people don’t know about you.
I’m developing a green thumb. Wish me luck or better yet send tips and tricks on how to keep plants alive!
