Suzanne Wade is the Assistant Director for Employer and Alumni Outreach for the Office of Career Strategy and Law Advancement. She and has worked at the university for over thirty years. Suzanne is originally from Niagara Falls, NY and lived in Buffalo, NY before moving to Lexington.
Q. Where is your favorite location on the W&L campus?
The Colonnade
Q. What is your favorite thing to do when you are not working?
Listening to music and spending time with my four grandchildren and grand-dog. I like Country, Carolina Beach Music and Blues, in no particular order.
Q. Book/Podcast/TV Show Recommendation?
I don’t watch many TV shows. I like watching live sports including golf, college basketball and pro/college football.
Q. Who inspires you?
My grandchildren—they are full of fun things to do together.
Q. If you could have coffee or tea with one person, who would it be and why?
A dear friend who passed earlier this year. We always enjoyed a good laugh together no matter how long it was between visits.
Q. Favorite food/restaurant/drink?
Tizzone in Daleville, favorite dish is salmon.

I used to roller skate competitively in dance and figure skating as a young teen.
