Tiffany Pins, head women’s soccer coach at Washington and Lee University, was selected as the 2025 Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Women’s Soccer Coach of the Year in voting conducted by the league’s coaches.

Pins, who collected the award for the third time in her four seasons at W&L, has guided the ninth-ranked Generals to an 18-2-2 overall record and the program’s second-straight ODAC title.

W&L is currently on a 16-game unbeaten streak dating back to a 1-0 loss to then fifth-ranked Emory University on Sept. 14. The Blue & White went unbeaten in conference play, posting a 10-0 overall record, and claimed the league title on penalty kicks (7-6) following a 1-1 tie against Virginia Wesleyan University in the ODAC Championship game on Nov. 8.

The Generals received the ODAC’s automatic bid to the NCAA Division III Tournament, posting a 3-0 win over Marymount University and a 2-0 victory over 18th-ranked Carnegie Mellon in the first two rounds held last weekend in Lexington. W&L will now host third-round and quarterfinal NCAA action on Nov. 22 and Nov. 23. W&L will play fifth-ranked Pomona-Pitzer on Saturday at 1:30 p.m., while second-ranked Emory and 19th-ranked Johns Hopkins University will meet at 11 a.m. The winners will play on Sunday at 1 p.m. for the right to advance to the NCAA Final Four held Dec. 4-6 in Salem, Virginia.

Pins has amassed a 65-10-12 (.816) record in her four seasons at W&L, including a 35-1-4 (.925) regular in regular-season conference play. Her teams have qualified for the NCAA Tournament all four years and have won two conference championships. Pins is in her 15th season as a collegiate head coach, posting a 197-64-39 (.704) overall record. She spent her first 11 seasons at Wartburg College, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in history in 2005. Pins also holds a Master of Arts in physical education with an emphasis in teaching and coaching from the University of Northern Iowa in 2010.
