W&L Athletics From the Comfort of Home In-person attendance at indoor W&L athletic events is still not possible because of COVID, but you can catch your favorite sports, athletes and coaches online this term.
Washington and Lee will once again return to athletic competition this weekend, as the men’s basketball team hosts Ferrum at the brand new Duchossois Athletic and Recreation Center.
This return to play is not without its limitations, and one of those involves a lack of spectators. Washington and Lee, in accordance with Old Dominion Athletic Conference regulations, will not allow fans for indoor competition this winter and spring. Rest assured, that doesn’t mean you can’t follow your favorite Generals teams and athletes.
Every Washington and Lee home winter athletic event will be streamed live through our broadcast partner, Blue Frame Technology, and there are several ways to watch. If you have a Roku streaming device for your television, simply search for and download the W&L Sports Network app, and click on the contest you’d like to watch. It’s that simple! To view on a mobile device or desktop computer, go to go.wlu.edu/live-video and click on the contest you wish to view.
Washington and Lee competitions on the road will continue to be handled by the home institutions, many of which will also provide live video feeds. For more information and links to these broadcasts, simply visit generalssports.com and click the schedule link for your favorite sport. Broadcast and live statistics hyperlinks will be listed for all home and away contests.
