W&L Music Presents Fall Choral Concert Tickets are free, but required.
Washington and Lee University presents the Fall Choral Concert on Oct. 29 at 8 p.m. in the Wilson Concert Hall. Tickets are free, but required.
The performance will be streamed live online and available to watch for free here.
Along with the W&L University Singers, Cantatrici, the treble choir, and the W&L Glee Club will perform a range of music, including Curtis Martin’s classic, “It’s Alright,” and Shane Lynch’s newest compositions, “Beauty’s In Your Singing.”
In 2020, the ensemble will be featured at the Atlas Theater in Washington, D.C., as part of the Washington Post’s “Intersections” festival, where it will perform all of “Considering Matthew Shepard,” an essential work of social justice art from the past 30 years.
“These are amazing honors for the students here at W&L,” said Lynch. “It is such a privilege to be sharing such meaningful music with the W&L and Lexington communities, but also to be a part of these important yet difficult conversations throughout the world.”
Lenfest Center box office hours are Monday–Friday, 9-11 a.m. and 1-3 p.m., and one hour before performance time.
