Students in Washington and Lee University’s piano program will perform their annual winter concert, “Magical Mystery Tour,” on Sunday, March 8, at 3 p.m. in Wilson Concert Hall in the Lenfest Center for the Arts. The performance will be followed by a reception in Lykes Atrium.

The performance is free and open to the public. The event will also be streamed online at https://go.wlu.edu/livestream.

The program will highlight works that, like its namesake album by the Beatles, expand the piano repertoire in their imagination, artistry and emotional depth. The matinee recital will feature works by Aaron Copland, Samuel Barber and George Fredric Handel as well as dramatic favorites by Johannes Brahms, Camille Saint-Saens, Sergei Prokofiev and Frederic Chopin.
