Drum Tao 2020Washington and Lee University presents, Drum Tao 2020, a massive international percussion sensation, for their latest high-octane performance showcasing the ancient art of Japanese drumming on Feb. 6, at 7:30 p.m. in the Keller Theatre.
With intense athleticism, detailed costumes, creative and entertaining choreography and mesmerizing large-scale drumming, Tao’s performance attempts to capture the essence of storytelling and visual art. Drum Tao’s stage is created through performances and expressions consisting of “Wadaiko-drums” and the mesmerizing melody of Japanese flutes and harps.
