W&L Music Presents Fall Choral Concert

Editor’s note: As of Jan. 23, the MLK Remembrance Concert scheduled for Jan. 25 has been canceled due to weather.
Washington and Lee University presents the Martin Luther King Jr. Remembrance Concert at 7 p.m. on Jan. 25 in Wilson Concert Hall in the Lenfest Center for the Arts.
The performance is free and open to the public. The event will also be streamed online at https://go.wlu.edu/livestream.
The concert honors the life and legacy of King. The performance will feature readings of speeches and poems by King, Maya Angelou, Langston Hughes and others, interspersed with musical reflections performed by W&L’s University Singers, Glee Club, Cantatrici and the University Jazz Ensemble.
