W&L Presents Senior Recital with Lui Blomberg ‘25 Blomberg’s piano and composition recital will be held on March 23 at 3 p.m. in Wilson Concert Hall.

Lui Blomberg ’25 will perform his senior piano recital on March 23 at 3 p.m. in Wilson Concert Hall in the Lenfest Center for the Arts. Blomberg is an engineering and music double major from Eugene, Oregon.

The performance is free and open to the public and will be streamed online at https://go.wlu.edu/livestream.

Blomberg will perform works of solo piano repertoire, including Frédéric Chopin’s “Prelude No. 15, Op. 28” and John Field’s “Nocturne in D minor.” The recital will also feature Blomberg’s own compositions performed by an ensemble of string and wind players. Blomberg has studied piano under Akiko Konishi, assistant professor of music at W&L, and composition under the direction of Terry Vosbein, professor of music, composition and music theory and director of the University Jazz Ensemble.
