W&L Presents Virtual Holiday Pops Concerts in December The show is free and open to the public.
Holiday Pops Concert Photo by Chris Anderson ’20Washington and Lee University presents two Holiday Pops concerts, with streamed performances from past years, on Monday, Dec. 7 at 7 p.m., and Tuesday, Dec. 8 at 7 p.m.
The events are free, and the public can watch both online at https://livestream.com/wlu. A PDF of the printed program will be available during the stream.
The performance on Dec. 7 will feature a video of the Holiday Pops Concert from 2018, and the Dec. 8 performance will feature a video of the Holiday Pops Concert from 2019.
The concerts will showcase various members of the Washington and Lee Department of Music, who will perform musical pieces of the holiday season. The programs will feature performances by individual groups, massed ensemble pieces and various student conductors.
