
W&L’s Contact Committee Presents an Evening with Actor and Musician Ross Lynch The “The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina” actor will speak on March 12 at 7 p.m. in the University Chapel.
Washington and Lee University’s Contact Committee is excited to welcome television actor and musician Ross Lynch to campus on March 12 at 7 p.m. in the University Chapel.
The event is free and open to the W&L community, and tickets are required. Tickets will be available to pick up outside Elrod Commons between 11:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. on March 3-5.
As an actor, Lynch rose to recognition in 2011 for his debut role as Austin Moon on Disney Channel’s hit series “Austin & Ally,” for which he received three Kids Choice Awards and a Teen Choice Award. He also starred in Disney’s original movie franchise “Teen Beach Movie” (1 and 2). Lynch also starred in Marc Meyers’s acclaimed film “My Friend Dahmer” (2017), Offspring Entertainment’s “Status Update” (2018), and The Hollywood Bowl’s production of “A Chorus Line” (2016). He most recently appeared in the Netflix series “The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina” (2018-2020), developed by Greg Berlanti and based on the popular comic.
In addition to his acting career, Lynch is the lead singer of the recording duo The Driver Era, which also features his brother, Rocky Lynch. The Driver Era’s fourth studio album, “Obsession,” will be released in April 2025, with an international tour kicking off in March ahead of the release date.
Lynch is also a competitive hockey player who has appeared at National Hockey League celebrity event games.
