W&L’s Pinto-Bailey’s Work Featured in Literary Journal Professor Cristina Pinto-Bailey recently published an essay on Black Brazilian feminisms and translated four pieces by Afro-Brazilian writers.
Cristina Pinto-Bailey, visiting associate professor of Spanish and Portuguese at Washington and Lee University, recently published an essay in “Review: Literature and Arts of the Americas” titled “Black Brazilian Feminisms: From Page, to Stage, to Screen.”
The journal also features four literary pieces by Afro-Brazilian writers translated into English by Pinto-Bailey.
