Zoila Ponce de León, assistant professor of politics at Washington and Lee University, was recently featured in the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru Research Center’s series “Public Policies and Debates.”
The series consists of a group of articles related to the formulation, implementation and evaluation of public policies for Peru. Each aims to diagnose public problems and recommend technical solutions to Peruvian public officials and politicians. In the second issue of the series, Ponce de León explains the main problems of Peru’s health system before COVID-19 and its current challenges.
She also posed a set of questions for the Peruvian presidential candidates ahead of the final debate, which took place Sunday, May 30th, 2021.
