W&L’s University Orchestra Presents “Everything Old is New Again” The performance will take place Nov. 16 at 8 p.m. in the Lenfest Center’s Wilson Concert Hall.
The University Orchestra at Washington and Lee University presents its Fall Term concert, “Everything Old is New Again,” on Thursday, Nov. 16, at 8 p.m. in the Wilson Concert Hall in the Lenfest Center for the Performing Arts, followed by a reception in Lykes Atrium.
The performance is free and open to the public and no tickets are required. The event will also be streamed online at livestream.com/wlu.
In their performance, the University Orchestra will explore a compilation of new works arranged for orchestra as well as several of the great standards. Featured works will include Sergei Prokofiev’s “Symphony No. 1,” also known as the “Classical,” and Shir-Ran Yinon’s “Vivid.”
