W&L’s University Orchestra Presents “Symphonic Sound Bites” The performance will take place March 28 at 8 p.m. in the Lenfest Center’s Wilson Concert Hall.
The University Orchestra at Washington and Lee University presents its Winter Term concert, “Symphonic Sound Bites,” on Thursday, March 28, at 8 p.m. in the Wilson Concert Hall in the Lenfest Center for the Performing Arts, followed by a reception in Lykes Atrium.
The performance is free and open to the public and no tickets are required. The event will also be streamed online at https://go.wlu.edu/livestream.
In their performance, the University Orchestra will explore a symphony of flavors sure to please every palate. Featured works will include shorter pieces from Adam Khachaturian and Edward Elgar, along with movements from larger-scale works, including Johannes Brahms’ “Third Symphony” and Ludwig Van Beethoven’s “Seventh Symphony.”
