W&L’s University Wind Ensemble Presents ‘Chasing Spring’ The show is free and open to the public.
Join the University Wind Ensemble for a musical harbinger of spring on April 4 at 8 p.m. in the Wilson Concert Hall. The show is free and open to the public, and no tickets are required to attend.
The performance will also be streamed online at https://livestream.com/wlu.
Highlights from the performance will include composers Cait Nishimura’s “Chasing Sunlight“ and Joaquín Turina’s “La Procesion du Rondo.” This concert will also feature Jon Sweet from Purdue University as guest conductor.
Gabriella Kogan ’24 and Truman Chancy ’22 will perform Dmitri Shostakovich’s “Piano Concert No. 2” and Alexander Glazunov’s “Alto Saxophone Concerto,” respectively.
