Join W&L’s University Wind Ensemble for their Fall Term concert, “Classics Reimagined” on Nov. 4 at 8 p.m. in Wilson Concert Hall in the Lenfest Center for the Arts.
The performance is free and open to the public and no tickets are required. The event will also be streamed online at go.wlu.edu/livestream.
In their performance, the University Wind Ensemble will perform a mix of standard repertoire, new music and fresh takes on old classics featuring works by composers Gustav Holst and Kevin Day. Special guest composer Armando Bayolo will join the ensemble to debut the world premiere of his “Mach Show,” taking a modern twist on tunes of the iconic British rock band, The Beatles.
