Bob Strong Discusses Impeachment in Recent Op-Ed The title of Strong’s piece is “Impeachment and Democracy.”
Robert StrongWashington and Lee University’s Bob Strong, William Lyne Wilson Professor in Political Economy, recently weighed in on impeachment in a Roanoke Times op-ed piece.
In the article, Strong writes, “The whole point of impeachment is to make it constitutionally possible to remove from office an elected president. If it’s wrong to ever undo an election result, it’s wrong to have impeachment in the first place.”
