I am married and have one child and one grandchild.

Q. How do you unwind or have fun? Any hobbies or hidden talents?
I like to read and spend time with my daughter and granddaughter.

Don’t quit.


Collin Hills, IT Systems Architect – Information Technology Services

Q. Tell us a little about yourself.
I graduated from the U.S. Air Force Academy in 2016 and I am married to Brooklyn Hills ‘25L.

Q. How do you unwind or have fun? Any hobbies or hidden talents?
I like hiking, kayaking, flying, playing pickleball and playing guitar/singing with my wife.

Q. Any favorite regional spots or activities you are excited about?
We love Lexington, especially Woods Creek trail and the various parks and wineries nearby. We enjoy the restaurants and shops downtown but mainly just enjoy being outside.

Q. Tell us a little about yourself.
I was born right here in Lexington. I have a little girl, who is turning one in March, and I love participating in events throughout the community with her.

Q. How do you unwind or have fun? Any hobbies or hidden talents?
I am an avid book reader.

Q. Any favorite regional spots or activities you are excited about?
I would say the Chessie Trail or Rockbridge Regional Library book group.


Elizabeth Vassar, Fieldside Manager Dining Services

Q. Tell us a little about yourself.
I was born and raised in Amherst County and I graduated from James Madison University with a degree in psychology. Most of my family still resides in the area and they are such a huge part of who I am. I’ve lived in South Carolina and North Carolina over the past few years and recently found my way back home. I love to visit the Outer Banks in the summer.

Q. Any favorite regional spots or activities you are excited about?
I grew up going to Hull’s drive-in so I’m really excited that it is back in operation. I love strolling Main Street, while Pronto and Brew Ridge Taps are some of my favorites places to visit.

Q. How do you unwind or have fun? Any hobbies or hidden talents?
I love to read, do yoga and travel. I am also a huge baseball fan and I’m a big foodie!
