Natasha Floyd, Public Safety Officer — Public Safety
Q. Tell us a little about yourself.
I enjoy spending time with family. I have no children of my own unless you include my pets — I have plenty of them and I enjoy my time with them as well.
Q. How do you unwind or have fun? Any hobbies or hidden talents?
I enjoy hiking, kayaking and fishing.
Caitlin Perry, Nurse Manager — Student Affairs
Q. Tell us a little about yourself.
I have two daughters, ages four and nine. I have a bachelor’s degree in biology from Roanoke College and a Master of Science in nursing from James Madison University.
Q. How do you unwind or have fun? Any hobbies or hidden talents?
I enjoy playing pickleball and spending time at the pool.
Heather Wood, Senior Administrative Assistant – The Williams School
Q. Tell us a little about yourself.
I hold a bachelor’s degree in business management from Bluefield University. I have been married to my husband Marty for 30 years and we have one son, Henry, who lives in Colorado.
Q. How do you unwind or have fun? Any hobbies or hidden talents?
I love music and going to concerts. I enjoy traveling, reading and spending time with family and friends. I am passionate about wildlife and volunteer for the Blue Ridge Wildlife Center.
Q. Best advice anyone has ever given you?
My mother always told me, “Put some lipstick on and act like you own the place.” Over the years, I’ve come to understand that was her way of saying show up, hold your head high and believe in yourself. Trust that you belong in the room and have something worthwhile to contribute.
