I enjoy doing most anything that doesn’t involve a screen! All the better if hands get dirty – especially cooking and gardening.

Q. Best advice anyone has given you?
“There’s no write like a re-write,” which guided me during a 30-year consulting/freelance career.

Q. Tell us a little about yourself.
I live in Crozet with my husband, Andy, and our 12-year-old son, Robert. I graduated from Virginia Tech (Go Hokies!). My husband has been a self-employed glass artist for over 25 years. My son just started seventh grade at Henley Middle School, and he loves it so far. We have a 15-year-old shepherd mix named Bella whom we adore.

Q. How do you unwind or have fun? Any hobbies or hidden talents?
I love to hike local trails and walk around the community of Crozet. I also practice watercolor and love to teach painting workshops.

Q. Any favorite regional spots or activities you are excited about?
I love hiking, so I am looking forward to checking out all of the hikes in and around Lexington. I’m also excited to learn more about W&L’s Outing Club.
