Human Resources is pleased to debut Enrichment Experiences for employees!

Enrichment Experiences are designed to connect employees with one another and the Lexington community while providing opportunities for fun, learning, growth and professional development. The new format will replace Enrichment Week programming, previously offered in January, with a series of pop-up experiences for W&L employees throughout the academic year.

All W&L employees are invited to participate in Enrichment Experiences. Attendance numbers from previous Enrichment Weeks showed that large segments of our campus could not engage in January Enrichment Week programming, and we hope the new pop-up format will better accommodate employees’ schedules and provide opportunities for increased participation throughout the year.

Enrichment Experiences will continue to harness the hobbies, talents and expertise of W&L colleagues and local businesses, and we will continue to offer fun favorites from prior Enrichment Week programming. Professional development-focused sessions will be offered during Fall and Winter Academy and various times throughout the year. Additionally, we welcome new ideas and invite you to let us know if there is a session you would like to facilitate or if you have suggestions for other experiences.

We hope you will enjoy these opportunities to engage meaningfully with campus colleagues and pursue new interests! To give you a taste of the Enrichment Experiences to come, we are excited to share that a Holiday Hosting—Sips and Bites session will be held at Ladles and Linens (1 South Main Street) on Thursday, Dec. 5, from 5 to 6:30 p.m. This session will demonstrate how to make three festive beverages (cocktails and mocktails) with accompanying appetizers for your next gathering. Click here to sign up for this fun session.
