Q. What is your favorite thing to do when you are not working?
I don’t think I have one single favorite thing that I like to do—I like yoga, boxing, watching Kdramas, listening to music, and trying new crafty hobbies.

Q. Book/Podcast Recommendation?
My favorite book series is the Legendborn book series by Tracy Deonn. It’s a YA series, but I love the in-depth historical background and blend it gives of Black Americans in North Carolina and the King Arthur legends. It’s the Black girl in fantasy book I needed growing up! But it’s also good no matter how old you are.

Q. If you could have coffee or tea with one person, who would it be and why?
My grandmother (Gan-Gan)! She’s no longer with us, but I would love to tell her that I graduated from law school, and that I’m still reading and writing!

Q. What is the most adventurous thing you have ever done?
I took a solo trip to Iceland during law school! It was my first solo trip, and it was a week of activities all around the country. It’s still my favorite trip to this day.

Q. Tell us something some people may not know about you?
I’m a classically trained pianist who does not enjoy playing piano.
