Meet a Colleague: Sarah Hughes Sarah Hughes is the Assistant Dean for Law School Advancement at W&L Law.

Sarah Hughes

Sarah Hughes has spent more than 25 years working in higher education, primarily in admissions and advancement. She currently serves as Assistant Dean for Law School Advancement at the law school. At the heart of her work, she always enjoyed getting to know people, building relationships, and helping people stay connected to places that are meaningful to them. Sarah earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Presbyterian College and her master’s degree in Higher Education Administration from the University of South Carolina. She played volleyball at Presbyterian, and while my competitive volleyball days are behind her, she now attempts to play tennis whenever she can. Sarah enjoys staying active, spending time with family and friends, and traveling when she gets the chance. She is always up for a good conversation, a new experience, and the occasional tennis match, even if she is a little rusty!
