The Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies Program at Washington and Lee University will present a virtual faculty panel on Jan. 26 at 6:30 p.m. The event, which is free and open to the public to view online, is titled “How We Got Started and How Far We’ve Come.”

During the event, WGSS professors Sarah Horowitz, Ellen Mayock, Domnica Radulescu and Julie Woodzicka will recount the beginnings – and development over 20 years – of the program at W&L.

“The kick-off panel will give a compelling overview of the origins of the WGSS program and its evolution in terms of students, faculty, curriculum and the program’s role in the university,” Mayock said. “The faculty panel should set the stage for the excellent events that will follow this spring.”
