Washington and Lee Presents Choral Ensemble Showcase The concert is free and open to the public to view online.
The Washington and Lee University Choral Ensemble will perform a virtual concert on Monday, Nov. 30 at 8 p.m. The show is an eclectic concert featuring traditional music from Lithuania, Slovenia, Argentina, Georgia, Russia and many other countries.

Prepared and performed under appropriate COVID-19 safety precautions, the concert will feature the music of old favorites like Bach and Mendelssohn along with exciting new works by composers Dan Forrest, Samo Vovk and Alberto Grau.
A highlight of the concert is the performance of two folk wedding celebration songs, “Trepute Martela” by Vaclovas Augustinas, performed by the W&L Glee Club and Canatatrici, and Samo Vovk’s epic “Ta Na Solbici,” performed by the University Singers.
