W&L Jazz Ensemble Presents Fall Showcase Joined by the Vosbein Magee Big Band, the student ensemble will perform on Nov. 6 at 8 p.m. in the Lenfest Center’s Wilson Concert Hall.

Join the Washington and Lee University Jazz Ensemble for their fall showcase, featuring the Vosbein Magee Big Band, on Nov. 6 at 8 p.m. in Wilson Concert Hall in the Lenfest Center for the Arts.

The performance is free and open to the public, and no tickets are required. The event will also be streamed online at https://go.wlu.edu/livestream.

The performance will feature swinging rhythms and soulful melodies as the ensembles plays a fusion of old classics and fresh tunes. The Vosbein Magee Big Band (VMBB), a Lexington-based band comprised of the area’s best jazz musicians, will once again join the W&L student musicians for their annual fall collaboration. The highlight of the evening will be the senior members of the jazz ensemble taking the stage alongside VMBB for a special combined performance.
