W&L’s University Wind Ensemble Presents ‘Gradients’ The performance will take place Nov. 3 at 8 p.m. in the Lenfest Center’s Wilson Concert Hall.

Join W&L’s University Wind Ensemble for their Fall Term concert, “Gradient,” on Nov. 3 at 8 p.m. in Wilson Concert Hall in the Lenfest Center for the Arts.

The performance is free and open to the public, and no tickets are required. The event will also be streamed online at https://go.wlu.edu/livestream.

In their performance, the University Wind Ensemble will present music exploring waves of color through pieces inspired by visual art and its relation to color. Featured works include “Scenes from the Louvre” by Dello Joio, “Blue and Green Music” by Samuel Hazo and a new piece by Amy Dunker based on the artwork of Fernando Botero.
