Brandyn Jordan has joined W&L Law in the newly created position of Assistant Director of Admissions and Student Affairs, Diversity Recruitment and Engagement.

In this position, Jordan supports both the law student affairs and law admissions offices to promote, support and engage with applicants and law students from historically underrepresented populations. He is responsible for coordinating diversity recruitment efforts as well as supporting and counseling affinity-based student groups and individual students from underrepresented or marginalized communities.

“We are thrilled to have Brandyn as part of the W&L Law community,” said Trenya Mason, Associate Dean for Law Student Affairs. “He has already begun to foster relationships and establish connections within the law school and greater University community. I appreciate the fresh perspective he brings to student recruitment and support.”

Jordan brings with him a unique combination of student affairs and pre-law experience to the position. Most recently, he worked at the University of Florida, where he served as an academic advisor with a focus on pre-law advising. He has also worked in student affairs and advising-related positions at Georgia State University and the University of Central Arkansas.

“I am excited to join the W&L Law community as a member for both the Admissions and Student Affairs team,” said Jordan. “It has been great to engage with some W&L students already, and I am looking forward to the upcoming school year to interact with more of our amazing students.”

Jordan is a graduate of North Carolina A&T State University, and he also holds a M.S. degree in college student personnel services and administration from the University of Central Arkansas.
