W&L Presents Senior Recital with Gabriella Kogan ’24 Kogan’s piano recital will be held on March 24 at 3 p.m.

Gabriella Kogan ’24 will perform her senior piano recital on March 24 at 3 p.m. in Wilson Concert Hall in the Lenfest Center for the Performing Arts. Kogan is a classics major and music minor from Atlanta, Georgia.

The performance is free and open to the public and will be streamed online at https://go.wlu.edu/livestream.

Kogan will perform solo works from the Baroque, Romantic and 20th-century musical periods. The program features sonatas by Domenico Scarlatti, Ludwig van Beethoven’s aptly named “Tempest Sonata,” and jazzy piano preludes by George Gershwin. Kogan has studied applied piano under the direction of Akiko Konishi, assistant professor of music at W&L, who also serves as Kogan’s minor adviser.
