W&L Presents Senior Recital with Matt Flynn Flynn’s vocal recital will take place on April 4 at 8 p.m. in Wilson Concert Hall.

Matt Flynn ’25 will perform his senior vocal recital on April 4 at 8 p.m. in Wilson Concert Hall in the Lenfest Center for the Arts. Flynn, a baritone, is a cognitive and behavioral science and music double major and data science minor from Ashburn, Virginia.

The performance is free and open to the public and will be streamed online at https://go.wlu.edu/livestream.

Flynn will perform works by Stephen Sondheim, Franz Schubert and Gerald Finzi. The thesis recital will be a tribute to Flynn’s experience singing in styles of musical theater, the Romantic era and the modern era. Flynn studied music during his first year under the direction of Scott Williamson, visiting assistant professor of music at W&L, before transitioning to the studio of Christine Fairfield, lecturer in music, his sophomore year.
