
W&L Presents Senior Recital with Meredith Harron Harron’s vocal recital will take place on March 13 at 8 p.m. in Wilson Concert Hall.

Meredith Harron ’26 will perform her senior vocal recital on March 13 at 8 p.m. in Wilson Concert Hall in the Lenfest Center for the Arts. Harron, a mezzo-soprano, is a music and cognitive and behavioral science double major from High Point, North Carolina.
The performance is free and open to the public and will be streamed online at https://go.wlu.edu/livestream.
The performance will open with a set of art songs in German featuring Carl Loewe’s setting of Johann Wolfgang von Goethe’s 1782 poem, “Erlkönig.” The program will also feature “Condotta ell’era in ceppi” from Giuseppe Verdi’s opera “Il Trovatore” and four selections from Hector Berlioz’s “Le nuits d’été.” Harron will close her performance with Baba’s aria from Gian Carlo Menotti’s “The Consul” and Jule Styne’s “Don’t Rain on My Parade” from “Funny Girl.” Harron has studied music under Gregory Parker, professor of music at W&L.
