
W&L’s University Wind Ensemble Presents Concerto-Aria Winners Concert The performance will take place on April 6 at 8 p.m. in the Lenfest Center’s Wilson Concert Hall.

Join the University Wind Ensemble at Washington and Lee University for its Winter Term concert on April 6 at 8 p.m. in Wilson Concert Hall in the Lenfest Center for the Arts.
The performance is free and open to the public and no tickets are required. The event will also be streamed online at https://go.wlu.edu/livestream.
The concert will feature the winners of the 2025-26 Concerto-Aria Contest, sopranos Isabel Duarte ’26 and Paris Guerrero ’27. In addition, Bill Zheng ’26 and Daniel Volodarsky ’27 will make student guest conducting appearances. The University Wind Ensemble will perform music by Omar Thomas, John Mackey and Johnny Vinson and will present the consortium premiere of “Phoenix” by composer Joseph Sowa, who will be in attendance.
