Campus Kitchen Continues Just Food Series with Local Partners The March 20 webinar will focus on the challenges in addressing childhood obesity.

Join the Campus Kitchen at Washington and Lee (CKWL) for the next installment in its 2024-25 Just Food event series. The program examines the intersection of food systems and social justice, offering valuable opportunities for W&L students, the campus community and the wider Lexington-Rockbridge community to explore how food interplays with cultural development.

CKWL, with Live Healthy Rockbridge Kids, will host a webinar titled “Approaches to Childhood Obesity” on March 20 at 5:30 p.m. The discussion will feature a panel of experts from the Rockbridge Area Health Center and the Dr. Yum Project in Fredericksburg, Virginia, focusing on how their organizations aim to address the challenges associated with childhood obesity.
