Registration is open for Washington and Lee University’s Entrepreneurship Summit, which will take place on campus Friday and Saturday, Sept. 29-30, 2023.

This event is open to the entire W&L community. Interested alumni, faculty, staff and guests can register through Colonnade Connections. Students should register on Handshake.

The Entrepreneurship Summit will feature several panels offering deep dives into topics like intrapreneurship, venture capital and angel investment, the future of artificial intelligence (AI), the fourth industrial revolution and more. The event is designed to connect, inspire and support the next generation of entrepreneurs within the W&L community. Highlights include an alumni pitch session, a student pitch competition, and an ideation session focused on designing the future of the entrepreneurship program. There are also opportunities for alumni to interview current students for internships or full-time positions.

“Attending the Entrepreneurship Summit for the first time in 2014, I had no idea what to expect. After two days of learning from other entrepreneurs, networking with alumni, and engaging with the students, I immediately felt reconnected to W&L in a way I hadn’t in 20 years,” said Mary Drennen ’02, chair of the event’s steering committee.

“Every fall that I’ve returned for this event, I’m blown away again by how much in-depth knowledge and expertise is shared, touching entrepreneurs at all stages of the journey.”

Logan Bartlett ’10, a managing director at Redpoint Ventures, is the keynote speaker. Bartlett has led investments in Cyera, Cribl, FloQast, Ramp, Materialize, Monte Carlo and Crossbeam, as well as supported the firm’s investment in Workato. He has also interviewed many of the most influential founders and technologists on his podcast, “The Logan Bartlett Show.”

Registration to the summit includes attendance to all programming, including breakfast, lunch and a networking reception on Sept. 29, as well as breakfast, lunch and a celebratory closing picnic on Sept. 30. For a full schedule of events, please visit the schedule online.
