W&L’s Tanlu Publishes Article in Strategic Finance Magazine Assistant Professor Lloyd Tanlu’s article is titled “Causal Language and Effective Performance Evaluations.”

Lloyd Tanlu, assistant professor of accounting at Washington and Lee University, recently co-authored an article in Strategic Finance Magazine titled “Causal Language and Effective Performance Evaluations.”

 

In the piece, Tanlu writes, “Providing timely and high-quality feedback to employees is an objective of 99% of respondents’ performance evaluations, yet only 50% indicate that their performance feedback is effective at achieving this objective.”
