Zoila Ponce de Leon, assistant professor of politics at Washington and Lee University, was recently interviewed by Global Finance for a story on “Peru’s Rock Star Finance Minister.”

Ponce de Leon notes that Peru’s Finance Minister, Maria Antonieta Alva, “is able to explain her office’s approach and policies in a clear manner. In the current context, Peruvians—like people everywhere else—want honest messages that present clear solutions.”
