W&L’s Morel to Participate in National Constitution Center Event The America’s Town Hall program will explore how to understand the legacy of the American Revolution and the founders in the 21st century.

On the evening of Constitution Day, Sept, 17. 2021 at 6:30 p.m., John K. Boardman, Jr. Professor of Politics Lucas Morel will participate in a special America’s Town Hall program by the National Constitution Center.

Morel, along with historians Gordon Wood and Edward Larson and author Emily Pears, will discuss understanding the legacy of the American Revolution and the founders in the 21st century. They will also discuss Wood’s newest book, Power and Liberty: Constitutionalism in the American Revolution.

The event will be moderated by Jeffrey Rosen, president and CEO of the National Constitution Center. Register to attend the event live or online here.
